Junior Java Developer

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic junior Java developer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java development with exposure to Spring Boot and Microservices. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Assist in building and consuming RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external systems. Support the development and maintenance of Microservices-based applications. Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs. Contribute to application performance optimization and system reliability. Create and maintain technical documentation as required. Required Skills & Experience 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Strong understanding of Core Java concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development. Basic understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems. Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools. Understanding of software development best practices and debugging techniques. Preferred Skills Exposure to Spring Cloud and microservices-based applications. Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts. Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
