Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Microservices Architecture, Java, and Spring Boot to lead complex technology projects and drive end-to-end delivery. The candidate should be based in Bangalore or Gurugram and must be willing to work from the customer location in Mumbai for an initial 2-3 month assignment. All applicable Mumbai assignment-related expenses, including travel and accommodation, will be covered additionally by the company. After completion of the Mumbai assignment, the candidate will continue to work from Bangalore or Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of microservices-based applications, distributed systems, REST APIs, system integrations, cloud technologies, and CI/CD, along with proven experience in project delivery, technical team leadership, stakeholder management, and customer-facing communication. Strong and demonstrable experience in Microservices Architecture is mandatory. This role requires a Technical Project Manager who can understand and contribute to technical and architectural discussions, identify technical risks and dependencies, and effectively bridge the gap between customers, architects, engineering teams, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation through production delivery. Drive projects involving Microservices-based enterprise applications. Work closely with Solution Architects and Engineering teams on Microservices Architecture and technical design decisions. Provide technical oversight for Java and Spring Boot-based microservices. Manage cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams. Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, risks, and dependencies. Drive Agile/Scrum methodologies and ensure sprint and release goals are achieved. Oversee REST API development and integrations with external systems and third-party services. Identify and mitigate technical risks related to distributed systems, scalability, performance, integrations, and deployment. Coordinate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, cloud deployments, release management, and production readiness. Ensure adherence to architecture standards, engineering best practices, security, scalability, and quality requirements. Manage customer communication and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery updates to leadership and customers. Drive resolution of critical technical and delivery issues. Ensure high-quality delivery and maintain strong customer satisfaction. Mandatory Skills Strong Microservices Architecture experience – Mandatory Java Spring Boot REST APIs and Microservices Distributed Systems External System / API Integrations Cloud Platforms – AWS / Azure / GCP CI/CD and DevOps SQL / Oracle Docker / Kubernetes – preferred Microservices Architecture Expertise Strong understanding and experience with Microservices Architecture. Experience with service decomposition and independently deployable services. Strong understanding of distributed systems and inter-service communication. Experience with REST APIs and API Gateway. Understanding of scalability, high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance. Experience with security and authentication across distributed services. Understanding of containerized microservices using Docker/Kubernetes. Experience with cloud-native application architecture. Understanding of monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed applications. Experience 12–15 years of overall IT experience. Strong and demonstrable experience in Microservices Architecture.
