Oracle Technical Apps Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps Technical Consultant to join our India Offshore team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Financials and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines by building robust PL/SQL packages, SQL objects, and datasets to support enterprise reporting and analytics. The consultant should have a strong understanding of Oracle EBS Financial data models, data conversion methodologies, integrations, and technical architecture. As part of our technology roadmap, we plan to adopt Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Experience with these technologies is desirable and will be considered an advantage. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views. • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, reporting datasets, and data extraction processes. • Build scalable technical solutions for Oracle EBS Financial modules, including support for large-volume data processing and data migrations. • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning. • Design and support Oracle EBS integrations using standard APIs, interface tables, and other integration mechanisms. • Analyze Oracle EBS Financial data models and provide technical solutions for reporting and analytics requirements. • Ensure data integrity, validation, reconciliation, and quality across reporting datasets and conversion processes. • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and reporting teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions. • Troubleshoot production issues, provide application support, and participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps Technical Consultant with strong Oracle EBS R12 technical expertise. • Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Financials. • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Financial modules: o General Ledger (GL) o Accounts Payable (AP) o Fixed Assets (FA) o Accounts Receivable (AR) o Cash Management (CE) o Subledger Accounting (SLA) • Strong expertise in: o Oracle SQL and PL/SQL o Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers o Complex SQL Query Development and Performance Tuning o Data Extraction, Transformation, and Data Pipeline Development o Oracle EBS Data Conversions and Reconciliation o Oracle EBS APIs, Interface Tables, and Integrations • Good understanding of Oracle EBS R12 Financial data model and database architecture. • Experience working with large transactional databases and enterprise reporting solutions. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
