Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities •Site Preparation & Civil Works Oversight Supervise dismantling-related civil activities at JM-Manesar and new construction/modifications at JM Bawal. Manage foundation work for equipment installation, including excavation, concrete casting, and load-bearing verification. Ensure correct placement of utility trenches, cable trays, and supports. •Vendor & Contractor Management Coordinate with civil contractors, handle technical queries, and ensure adherence to drawings and project timelines. Monitor contractor work quality and compliance with site safety standards. • Structural & Layout Verification Review civil drawings and layouts before execution. Validate structural modifications (flooring, supports, foundations, anchoring points) after completion. Conduct site inspections to verify alignment and levels for equipment installation. •Team Supervision Guide and manage technicians/labor teams during construction and modification activities. Ensure proper allocation of work and compliance with standard procedures. •Documentation & Compliance Maintain civil work reports, checklists, and inspection records. Ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety guidelines. Support troubleshooting of civil-related issues during dismantling and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills •Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering. •3–6 years of experience in industrial civil works, preferably in plant relocation/line shifting projects. •Strong knowledge of equipment foundations, structural supports, and utility civil requirements. •Ability to read, review, and validate civil drawings. •Hands-on experience in contractor/vendor management. •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver under strict timelines.
