Sr. Power BI Developer

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI • Translate business requirements into KPIs, data models, and reporting solutions Deliver new dashboards (primary focus) and enhance existing reports based on business demand Perform data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and optimize semantic layers • Develop and optimize DAX calculations and Power Query transformations Extract and analyze data from Snowflake and other enterprise data sources Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy • Optimize reports for performance, usability, and refresh cycles Work closely with business stakeholders for requirements gathering, iterative delivery, and feedback incorporation Support fast-paced, demand-driven analytics requests with defined turnaround timelines Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Visualization Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop, Service, DAX, Power Query) Solid hands-on experience with SQL and data querying Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema) Experience in dashboard performance optimization and report tuning Exposure to data validation, reconciliation, and analytics workflows

Preferred Skills • Experience working with SAP or enterprise data sources (e.g., CDH environments) • Familiarity with Agile / iterative delivery models Understanding of analytics-layer data transformation (non-ETL) Key Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to deliver in a high-response, SLA-driven environment Experience working in collaborative, stakeholder-facing delivery models Ability to handle dynamic, backlog-driven analytics demand
